Student Travel Grant Award (STGA)

The focus of STGA is on students' support while International Scholarship (SICE-IS) intends to promote broad participation from overseas. A student can apply to both STGA and SICE-IS. However, the winner of SICE-IS is automatically excluded from STGA candidates.

An STGA candidate should

1. be an undergraduate/graduate student (at the time of the application)
2. present his/her paper at ICCAS-SICE 2009

Applications are completed by marking the corresponding check box at the time of online submission. About 40 individuals are selected by the Program Committee based on the paper quality and presentation. At the beginning of August, the finalists will be announced. Each finalist is asked to send copies of student IDs at this stage. The winner will be awarded and receive a prize of 50,000 JPY at the closing ceremony.
