• Organizer should notify the intended authors of the OS ID.
• Organizer should promote the authers to submit the extended abstract.
  • The authors of the papers in the organized sessions must submit the extended abstract as well.

Extended Abstract [ For Authors ]

• Guidelines for authors
  • Authors should submit an extended abstract of 800-1000 words in English or 2000-3000 characters in Japanese, including paper title, author names, addresses, affiliations, name of the presenter, postal mail and E-mail addresses of the corresponding author and telephone/facsimile numbers. The extended abstract should clearly describe the salient concepts and novel features of their work, including purpose and results, for a meaningful review by the Technical Program Committee.
  • Only PDF files are acceptable. MS-Word files are not acceptable for some reasons.
  • The LaTeX Style file, MS-Word file and sample file (PDF) are available, however it is not compulsory.
  • The authors in the organized sessions will need OS ID when submitting extended abstract. Please contact the organizer of the OS.
  • Please follow the instructions in the submission page linked from next item.
• Submission of Extended Abstract
  • Deadline ---> March 5, 2004
  • If you have registered but not yet uploaded PDF file of Ext. Abst., please upload it not later than 24:00 on March 21 (Sunday).
  • Notification of Acceptance ---> April 17, 2004

  • Language ---> English only
  • Paper size ---> A4
  • Acceptable pages ---> Between 4 and 8 pages. For a number more than 6 pages the excess fee of 10,000 yen per page will be charged.
  • File format ---> PDF version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.0) file with 8 bit code only
  • Publication style ---> CD-ROM
