Registration

Registration is required for all conference participants.

Registration for SICE2017 can be made through the online registration or on-site at the conference registration desk in Kanazawa.

On-site Registration

Attendees can also register on-site at the registration desk.

All payments must be made in Japanese yen by cash or credit card (VISA, Master Card, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club).

Registration Desk

The conference registration desk will be located on 1F Academic Promenade of Natural Science and Technology Main Hall. At the desk, you will be able to check in, pick up your registration materials, banquet tickets, and consult with conference staff for conference information. The schedule for the registration desk is as follows:

Sep. 21 (Thu) 8:30 - 16:00

Conference Registration Fee

*Member rates apply to members of the following societies: SICE, SICE supporting members, IEEE, ICROS, ISA, CAA, JEMIMA, CIS and ACA.

Advance registration is required in order to upload the final material of accepted contributions by July 1, 2017.

The maximum number of submissions allowed by each applicant depends on the type of registration. One full registration can cover up to two papers. For student registration, the limit is one paper. Additional paper charge is JPY 15,000 / paper.

Student Member and Student Non-Member registration do not include banquet. If he/she wishes to join the banquet, he/she needs to buy an extra banquet ticket.

Six pages in the standard SICE conference paper format are allowed for the regular papers, including figures.
A maximum of two additional pages are permitted at an Extra Page Charge of 10,000JPY per page.
One full registration can cover up to two papers. For student registration, the limit is one paper.
If you want to upload more contributions, you can pay an Extra Paper Charge for one more paper.

Tutorial and Workshops Registration Fee

Half Day Tutorial and Workshops will be offered on Tuesday 19 Sep. 2017, 14:10-17:30.

You can choose a single among one tutorial and two workshops.

People who do not register for the main conference can also register for the tutorial and workshops.

All rates inclusive of 8% Consumption Tax

For registrant of SICE2017	1,000 JPY
For non-registrant of SICE2017 (who attend Tutorials and Workshops only)	2,000 JPY

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation on or before Aug 1, your registration fee will be refunded after deducting the cancellation fee (JPY 10,000). Please note all refunds will be made after the Conference. Note that after Aug 2, your registration fee will NOT be refunded. In any case, if your registration is used to upload your contribution (paper/video) for SICE2017, your registration fee cannot be refunded.

Disclaimer: The organizers of SICE2017 wish to obtain your prior understanding that we will not be held liable for any damages incurred by participants (such as participating fees, transportation expenses, lodging expenses) as a result of a partial revision or cancellation of all or any of the content of the meeting that occurs due to reasons beyond our control, such as act of providence, outbreak of an infectious disease, or suspension of services by the venue and transportation networks.

- In case of cancellation, your registration fee will be refunded after deducting the cancellation fees.
