Abstract | This workshop presents the significance of advanced test rigs (hardware) and validation platforms (software) to effectively validate control theory and contributing to a more real life system development. Using case studies from Japan and elsewhere, the presenters will introduce up to date controls theory validation techniques for a range of advanced control research applications. The importance of finding the real life problem to be solved and the educational importance will also ;be highlighted. Specific topics include robust control, adaptive control, aerospace applications, and biomedical robotics applications. | ||
