The forty-first SICE Annual Conference (SICE2002),
sponsored by the Society
of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE)
of Japan, will be held at Osaka
International Convention Center, Osaka, Japan
on August 5-7, 2002. The conference
is technically cosponsored by the Industrial
Electronics Society of the IEEE
(IEEE/IES), the IEEE Robotics and Automation
Society (IEEE/RAS), the IEEE
Control Systems Society (IEEE/CSS) and the
Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation
Society (ISA). The conference is held in
cooperation with IEEE Japan Council,
IFAC Japan Council, the Institute of Control,
Automation and Systems Engineers
(ICASE), Chinese Automatic Control Society
(CAC) and China Instrument Society
(CIS). More than 1500 engineers
and researchers have participated in recent
SICE Annual Conferences. In SICE2002,
all the papers must be written in English. Activities of the SICE are wide spread from
measurement and control to variety
of systems analysis and designs, from theory
to application, or from software
to hardware. Relevant topics include:
Newly developed interdisciplinary ideas and concepts transferable from one field to another are especially welcome from the standpoint of the SICE.
Authors are invited to visit the conference web site: http://www.sice.or.jp/event/sice2002/ Attention!
