To recognize outstanding young individuals who submits high quality paper in the activities of SICE (symposium, lecture meeting, etc.).

Authors Awards for Practical Application (under 35 years of age)
Eligibility:
Must be a member of SICE and must be less than 30 years of age at the time of application for the Awards for Basic Research, and less than 35 years of age for the Awards for Practical Application. Also must have not received any award from SICE.

The deadline of the application is May 21, 2003. Applicants are requested to send the Application Form to Secretary of SICE2003, C/O SICE office, by e-mail or Fax.

Basis of Judgment:
Technical contributions through presentation of new idea, improvement of theories, exceptional achievement by application to the plants or products within the SICE Field of Interest. Possibility of development will be evaluated as well as the achievements.
Presentation:
The winners are awarded at the general assembly of SICE.
