Support Scholarship for Organized Sessions
The International Program Committee(IPC) will support a part of Organized Sessions to promote the paper submission from the foreign countries in SICE2003. (1) Supported OS: The IPC will select 10 – 15 OS from the applied Organized Sessions. Then, the OS must include 1) one tutorial/review paper (40 minutes presentation), and 2) more than two overseas papers. Note: A session in SICE2003 will be composed of 100 minutes, and each paper presentation is 20 minutes. So the minimum number of papers is four for one session including a tutorial lecture. It is, of course, welcome to propose the OS consisted of two or more sessions. (2) The amount of support: about $1000 for an OS, which should be spent for the traveling or accommodation expenses. Please note that every attendance must pay the registration fee. (3) How to select: The IPC will select 10 –15 OS based on the following the priority order. 1) OS proposed from the foreign countries. 2) OS including more overseas papers. 3) Balance between the countries and fields.
